Rivers North Fishing Report

Enjoy the Ride

August 25th, 2009

Some good opportunities exist on the St.Marys River for early Fall Chinook Salmon-a good number of Salmon are currently present making for some exciting moments!  Seems as though this season there are more Chinook present compared to the few previous years.  This is a great sign for the Lake Huron Pacific Salmon fishery!  Some nice Atlantic Salmon as well as this Fall’s first Steelhead have also been providing some memorable days-this time of the year an angler can have the chance to target a few different species in one day here on the St.Marys.  Pink Salmon numbers are low at this time, although more continue to show up on a daily basis.  Look for Pink Salmon numbers to steadily increase as Sept grows closer.  Early Season Chinook Salmon-big & powerful, a great combination that will make every participant smile!

Game Time!
