Fall is fading into winter here across the U.P., snowflakes in the air & some ice on the ponds. Â Some good snows fell in areas, most has melted now but more in the near forecast. Â Some good Steelhead opportunities exist in our Upper Peninsula region on both Lake Superior as well as Lake Michigan streams. Â It has been a very good fall of fishing for Steelhead as water levels have been ideal.

So far it has been a very pleasant fall here in the Upper Peninsula, we sure haven’t received much for cold weather yet.  A nice variety of fishing options exist right now with some great fall Steelhead available.  These fish take a variety of patterns and are as exciting as it gets.  Fishing should continue to provide as long as the sub zero temps stay away, but we all know it’s just a matter of time!  Some new Riversnorth hats are available, these are our 15 year anniversary logo edition.  Please send us a message or call to order yours today=$17 shipped w an easy online Paypal payment. A big THANK YOU to everyone for all the support over the years, not a day goes by that we don’t realize your importance!  We will continue to strive in conserving our special fisheries here across the U.P. & vow protect these wild places.
