RIVERS NORTH UPPER PENINSULA FISHING REPORT!

U.P. Fall Steelhead & Salmon Fishing Report

October 23rd, 2026

Moving into late autumn here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, it’s been a wonderful fall to this point. Lower than normal water levels here have caused fishing to be a bit behind schedule. Despite the delay our anglers have experienced some great opportunities for some remarkable fish.

Chinook Salmon fishing is all but over at this time, but some nice Coho Salmon and Steelhead are available. We did get a nice bump in water levels last weekend from a good rain that brought stream levels up to pretty much normal flows for this time of the year.

Hoping that we see more rains to keep levels up and bring in some more fish. We do have availability so please reach out to get a date before the cold weather sets in! Thank you to all our recent guests, great job on some fantastic fish!
