Upper Peninsula Michigan Fishing Report
July 14th, 2026It’s the heart of summer here in Michigan’s U.P., a beautiful time to visit and be outside enjoying the outdoors! We have experienced some very hot weather recently that has escalated water temps across the region. Thankfully the warm spell is ending and some more seasonable weather is heading our way.
Our guests have been enjoying a variety of fishing ranging from St Mary’s river Atlantic Salmon as well as resident Brook and Brown Trout on our spring fed streams.
Atlantic Salmon numbers have been low this season, not many fish to work with but some remarkably large Salmon have made it to the net. Brook Trout fishing has been strong, attractor dries as well as streamers on our cold water spring creeks has been lights out.
Lots of time left in the fishing season here in the U.P., drop us a line to get some dates reserved. Happy to answer any questions you might have, thanks for the support!
