RIVERS NORTH UPPER PENINSULA FISHING REPORT!

Easing into Autumn

September 29th, 2021

It’s been a slow transition from summer to fall here in the U.P., seems like the warm temps just don’t want to let go. Many days have seen temps in the 70’s still which is unseasonably warm for our region. Some fun fishing opportunities have been present, a wide variety of options are available. Many streams have been seeing descent migrations of Coho & Chinook Salmon, we sure could use some rain as water levels are as low as I can ever remember for this time of the year. Resident Trout fishing has been very good at times, prespawn fish have been active w ideal water temps. Some great Muskies have also been landed by our guests, remarkable size on many fish this year which is great to see. Thank you to all our customers, your support is greatly appreciated!
