RIVERS NORTH UPPER PENINSULA FISHING REPORT!

Warming trend

May 13th, 2021

Finally some great weather in our forecast here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula! Looks like some very nice days to be on the water are heading our way, hopefully the winter gloves can finally get put away. Fishing has been going strong across the UP region with resident Trout, Steelhead, Lake Superior near shore and Smallmouth Bass available. Some insect activity has steadily been getting our Brook and Brown Trout more active. Blue Winged Olives, Stoneflies and Midges have been hatching daily on the streams we have been fishing, the warmest part of the day has the bugs most active. Some fantastic fish for our anglers recently, some absolute trophies to say the least. Check out the Smallmouth Bass, a personal best estimated at 7 lbs! Congrats & thank you to our customers.
