Early Chinook-So Angry, Yet So Nice!

August 18th, 2009

This time of the Summer offers many different options for the fisherman here in the Upper Peninsula.  Currently the St.Marys River system is offering quite the diverse fishery-some super chrome Chinook Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Resident Rainbow Trout and Steelhead are all available.  Not large #’s of any one species are present- some great fish have been taken by anglers willing to try different techniques and put in some time on the water.  Over the course of the next few weeks more Chinook, Pink Salmon, Coho & Steelhead will be making their voyage upstream-some fun days are in the near future!  A few open dates are still available for this Fall, shoot us a line for dates & details!

Chinook, Rainbows & Atlantics – only in the Yoop!!!
