Casting da Fly in Michigan’s U.P.

June 26th, 2014

Finally some nice weather here in the Upper Peninsula, never take a day of summer time like temps for granted! Trout fishing has been good lately with a nice variety of fly fishing opportunities available in the U.P.. BWO’s, midges, sulphurs, drakes, cahills, & quills have some nice fish rising for the dry fly fishing enthusiast. A wide variety of other fish such as warmwater species and Steelhead are also available for those interested, a unique year of fishing so far here in the U.P. that is for sure.
