Rivers North Fishing Report

Summertime!

June 11th, 2013

Here in the Upper Peninsula Trout fishing has taken center stage, seems as if the weather is beginning to cooperate a bit more and give us some pleasant seasonal temps.  Fishing has been pretty descent as a variety of techniques have been producing some nice resident trout for our guests.  Caddis, Sulphurs, BWO’s & many others have been hatching daily.  Also, the warm water species have been getting more active with the warming water which is gives the angler even more options.  Don’t forget the bug spray and cigars, they are hungry this year :)

Also, for beginner fly fisherman & fisherwomen-click this link to check out the class we will be hosting w Downwind Sports in Marquette.  This is an informative hands on seminar on the ABC’s of fly fishing, shorten your learning curve and participate in a fun evening!
