Rivers North Fishing Report

Summer Cold Front

June 2nd, 2013

Burr, seemed like summer was here until last night when more rains & a large cold front dumped into the Upper Peninsula.  Trout fishing was gaining steam nicely, but this cold weather & rain should push the fishing back some.  This season has seen lots of water in the streams & this trend seems keep going as the season goes along.  Caddis, Stoneflies, Dark & Light Hendricksons & a variety of other insects are making up the menu for the resident Trout.  Water temps are pretty normal for this time of this year.
