Rivers North Fishing Report

Cold Fingers

November 22nd, 2011

Safe to say Winter is here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, most of the north coast has snow on the ground & mornings are quite cold.  Steelhead are acting more like Winter fish now in their overall behavior & Lake Run Browns/Late season Cohos are still available in limited numbers.  Water temps are in the 30’s & and most streams are running quite clear.  Covering water thoroughly will get the angler some well deserved hookups on chilly days. Forecast is calling for a bit of a warm up over the holiday, then back to a more normal weather pattern for this time of the season.  Congrats to Ted on a magnum class Steelhead!
