Summer days are upon us here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, a great time of the year to be on the water! A wonderful selection of options for the angler, the U.P. has something to offer to all ages and abilities of fisherman.

Our guests have been enjoying some good resident Trout fishing this year, Brook Trout and Browns have been happy with cool temps and good water levels recently. Some excellent dry fly as well as sub surface fishing has been available, our cool weather trend has been great for all of our Trout fisheries.

Smallmouth Bass fishing has been good, fish are looking up which means popper fishing is going. Fishing will remain solid throughout the summer months. Pretty much all the fishing for warm water species has been quite solid, some remarkable fish to the net recently!
