Trout fishing in the U.P.
June 6th, 2021Trout fishing has been going quite strong this season, good dry fly fishing as well as subsurface has made for some memorable days. The resident Brook Trout fishing has been remarkable at times, a great sign for our fisheries. A variety of insects such as Blue Winged Olives, Sulphurs, Brown Drakes and Mahoganies have been present. Water conditions are very low for this time of the year, also recent unseasonably warm weather has escalated water temps. It’s been great spending time with our guests during some great fishing, congrats to all & thank you!
