Trout and Smallmouth Bass in the U.P.
September 1st, 2016More beautiful weather here across the Upper Peninsula over the last few weeks for fishing. Smallmouth Bass fishing has been fair to good, cloudy days have been much more productive. Some nice rains have blessed us w higher water levels which has had fish feeding readily. A variety of insects have been present lately, flying ants & BWO’s primarily. Some spring creeks have also been productive for resident Brook & Brown Trout, both dry flies & streamers have caught fish.
