High water in the streams

June 4th, 2016

High water across the region, many of our Trout streams currently here in the Upper Peninsula are quite big.  Seems like no break from the heavy rains over the last few weeks, never a good thing for this time frame of fishing.  This being said Trout fishing is relatively poor at this time, we need a period w no rain to get stream levels down to a normal level.  Warm water species fishing has been good at times, predators getting active w the warming water temps!
