Early U.P. Winter Steelhead
November 29th, 2015Chilly mornings in the single digits have greeted us some days here in the Upper Peninsula, but warmer than average daytime temps have us still fishing. This has been a pleasant early winter for fishing with some high quality opps. Steelhead and Lake Run Brown Trout are available in many streams across the U.P., both nymphing and streamer fishing has been productive. Most days have been small windows of eating activity with the cold water temps & lower light levels have been better than high sun. Nice work to our recent guests on some spectacular fish!
