Spring fishing in the U.P.
May 2nd, 2015Fly fishing opportunities here in the Upper Peninsula this time of the fishing season are good.  Currently there are still Steelhead available across the U.P. region in most rivers.  Many fish have wrapped their spawning & have begun the voyage back to the lake.  Some rain would be nice as stream levels are beginning to drop into a lower stage.  BWO’s, a variety of Stoneflies & some caddis have been active, a few resident Trout have been active as well.  Congrats to our clients as of lately on some wonderful fish!
