October 16th, 2012Some good rains and snows over the course of the wknd have rivers up quite a bit in some areas of the U.P., a nice change of pace as low water has been the norm for a while.  Steelhead have been the focus as nothing goes harder than the ones that are around right now. Salmon numbers are dwindling as most have or a migrating into spawning areas, although some Cohos remain active enough to eat.
