Wintery Mix
April 3rd, 2011A week of high sun, low water & cold water temps-the combo for some tough fishing conditions. Water levels crept up slowly with the trickle of slow runoff from melting snow pack, this also gave a bit of color to the water. Some Brown Trout are present & a few new Steelhead have been showing up here in the U.P., but not in significant numbers as water temps are hovering around 34-36 degrees for the most part. Some tiny Stoneflies have been present, but not much for significant numbers.
