Rivers North Fishing Report

Cold Front

September 2nd, 2010

Finally some relief from the heat as  large cold front has travelled across the Upper Peninsula.  The past week water temps warmed once again & some tougher fishing occurred.  Resident Trout fishing provided some good fishing as Brook Trout were looking up in the low light hours.  Low numbers of Chinook & Pink Salmon are present on the St. Marys River-low light conditions have also been best as afternoons have had high sunshine.  Even a magnum Walleye decided to visit the net this week!

Cold mornings-feels fishy!
