Rivers North Fishing Report

Fading Daylight

December 3rd, 2008

Winter has set in here across Michigan Upper Peninsula-daylight hours are getting shorter & water temps are downright cold!  Our Fall fishery is now history as fish have moved into their Winter homes-slow, deep, dark explains what they are looking for.  These areas the Steelhead, Coho and Trout don’t have to waste much energy to grab an easy meal as it comes tumbling by.  There are still plenty of fish around-but with the cold water be prepared to spend a little more time on the water to get your fix!   No warm up forecasted in the near future-looks like ice fishing is going to start up soon!
