Fishing Da U.P.!
June 2nd, 2014Truly a unique year for fishing here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, icebergs still in Lake Superior & a variety of fishing opportunities that I have never seen in June. Â Trout fishing is available throughout the U.P. region & some days have been quite productive. Â Dry fly fishing is kind of spotty, but daily opportunities exist. Â Caddis, BWO’s, Stoneflies, Sulphurs and Mahoganies have been hatching. Steelhead are available in various streams for those who are interested. Â Some streams are getting higher once again from recent rains and water temps range from upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
