August 4th, 2016Sweet summertime here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, a fine place to call home or to take a vacation! Â A warm summer is upon us by Yooper standards, not to normal to have so many days in the upper 80’s up here. Â Water temps are high across the board, picking your days & your spots are key to a successful outing. Â The St.Marys river has provided our guests with some magnificent fish this season, nice to see such ample baitfish numbers in this river system when rest of the Great Lakes are in dire straights. Â Warmwater fly fishing opps are also available & some very nice fish have been active to eat at times.
