Transition to Summertime
May 29th, 2020Fast forward to summer as we have been blessed with some fantastic weather for May fishing here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Pretty ideal water conditions & stellar weather has made it fantastic to spend time outdoors here lately! Steelhead fishing is all wrapped up as we had a fantastic run of fish this spring. Resident Trout fishing has been pretty good as well, some good dry fly fishing at times as well as subsurface eats. A cool off right now as we get back to more seasonable temps is under way. This should stabilize water temps and keep the fishing on schedule.
