Down for Brown?
December 5th, 2012The roller coaster of weather continues here in the Upper Peninsula, as one day it is 60 degrees & then the next day in the 30’s. Rather concerning to see this kind of weather in December and now the little bit of snow we had is history. Some rivers are up from the melt-off and rain that we received over the last few days. Looks like weather is fairly stable now as the forecast calls for highs in the lower to mid 30’s, which is more seasonable. Some nice Steelhead and Lake Run Browns are available which can be caught on a variety of techniques.
This Christmas treat yourself or a loved one to a guided fly fishing outing with Riversnorth, contact us for gift certificates in all denominations. Also, purchase the DVD – Small mouth, Big Appetite from Mangled Fly Media featuring friends Jon Ray & Kevin Feenstra-a DVD about fly fishing for Smallmouth Bass. Excellent stocking stuffers for all anglers :)
