Warming Waters
May 7th, 2011Steelhead fishing continues a provide some good times with mainly drop back Steelhead available as most fish have either spawned or are finishing up their spawning duties. Drop back Steelhead are aggressive and are downright angry when hooked in the warming water temps. A variety of flys can take fish at this time & it’s fun to see the fish eating such different patterns. Some Blue Winged Olives have been present on the warm sunny days as well as a few Caddis bouncing around the surface.
