Rivers North Fishing Report

Fishn w Eddie

August 26th, 2011

Cool nights have been the norm across the Upper Peninsula over the course of the past week, a sign that Fall is slowly creeping in more every day.  Special guest & long time friend Ed McCoy of Hawkins Outfitters from lower Michigan joined up with us for a couple days of Smallmouth & Pike fly fishing.  Top water action on poppers provided some excellent fishing, the warm water exploration continues and has been one of the highlights of this fishing season for sure! A few Chinook are beginning to move in rivers around the Upper Peninsula, look for numbers to increase with correct winds & cooler water temps. Wanna learn some new tricks and become a better angler? Book an outing with Ed in lower Michigan for Steelhead or Trout-a first class innovative guide who knows how fish behave like no other & an all around nice guy- a guaranteed good time :)
