Hot fishing in the U.P.!
August 17th, 2016Whew, an unbelievable hot summer here in the U.P! Â Everyday seems to be in the low 80’s & lots of sun, not a normal upper peninsula summer by any means. Â Water temps are higher than normal due to this nice weather, use proper precautions when fishing certain areas for all species. Â Fly fishing for Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike & Muskies has been productive, some days better than others which is normal. Â Atlantic Salmon on the St.Marys River has been slower, warmer water has most fish fairly lethargic. Â Congrats to our guests on some fantastic fish, thank you!
