Cold Front
September 2nd, 2010Finally some relief from the heat as  large cold front has travelled across the Upper Peninsula.  The past week water temps warmed once again & some tougher fishing occurred.  Resident Trout fishing provided some good fishing as Brook Trout were looking up in the low light hours.  Low numbers of Chinook & Pink Salmon are present on the St. Marys River-low light conditions have also been best as afternoons have had high sunshine.  Even a magnum Walleye decided to visit the net this week!
Cold mornings-feels fishy!
