August Fly Fishing in Michigan’s U.P.
August 19th, 2015Whew, some relief from the last heat wave! Â I have to say that I will never complain about the heat, it is much more pleasant than the polar plunge of Feb that isn’t too far off! Â The warm weather brought some great fly fishing opps over the entire U.P. region, both coldwater & warmwater species where into eating. Â Currently our temps have dropped & we are under a more normal weather pattern. Â Many streams are seasonably low, however some rains are in the forecast which will help out. Â Congrats to our anglers on some stellar fish this past week, some firsts on the fly for the crew which is a BIG deal!
