Some Relief
August 8th, 2012Well, finally a bit of cooler weather has settled in across the Upper Peninsula & water temps have chilled slightly.  I just read online that July was the warmest month ever recorded here, not much of a surprise as it seemed like we were fishing in an oven nearly every day.  Fishing remains solid as a variety of opportunities are available right now.  Smallmouth have been pretty active as well as some other warm water species, congrats to our clients on some high quality fish as of lately.  Below Todd shows off a rare mid summer catch of a walleye that ate a well presented fly!
