Rivers North Fishing Report

Climate Change

March 20th, 2012 at 9:30 am

Unseasonably warm temps have the earliest Spring possibly ever recorded upon us currently, the majority of all our snow pack is gone.  Rivers are quite high at this time from all the runoff with the multiple 80 degree days.  Truthfully, it feels more like August than March and reports of peepers (frogs) in the swamps are already common-this normally doesn’t happen till April or even May some years.  Some new Steelhead have been migrating upstream and some nice Trout were being taken prior to the high water.

New Rivernorth Gear is now available!  Trucker hats ($17), Organic Cotton hats ($17) & new Hoodies for $35.  Shipping ranges from $6-$10. Payments can be made via paypal, personal check or local delivery! Limited quantities available, email us with your order :)  Thanks for the support!
