Downright Polar
January 21st, 2012Well, it sure is winter here in the U.P. right now with some extra chilly temps and some fair snowfalls. Night time temps have reached well into the -20 range in the interior of the Upper Peninsula with areas closer to the Great Lakes staying a bit warmer. It has been to cold in my opinion to venture out onto the rivers due to ice & just overall miserable fishing conditions, so to the hard water we went. Some fun action on the tip ups put some Northern Pike on the ice, a nice way to spend the day with friends when the temps are this cold :)
