Unseasonable
January 12th, 2012The warm weather & lack of snow continues across the Upper Peninsula. Hopefully this pattern ends quickly as we will need the snow pack to ensure good water levels through the season. Currently it is the least amount of snow I have ever seen on the ground for this time of the winter. This nice spring like weather has offered some optimal fishing conditions, Steelhead and Trout fishing has provided for some mid winter fun. Likely winter holding water is where fish have been found on a variety of techniques. Pictured below is what I believe (?) is a Barred Owl, a very cool sight to see & rare to get this cooperation for a photo!
