Cold Snap
December 12th, 2011Burr, some straight up brutally cold air has been hanging around the Upper Peninsula as of lately. High temps only reached into the mid teens a few days over the past week, this has caused some issues with ice on the streams. Lake Run Browns have seemed to be particularly active which has been nice, some magnum class fish have made it to the net lately. Water temps are in the low 30’s and very clear-Steelhead have been taken on typical fare in likely Winter areas.
