Rivers North Fishing Report

Da Trout Season

May 25th, 2011

Caddis, Midges & Hendricksons are bringing some Trout to the surface here across the U.P.. Some hatches have been downright epic producing a quality rise as other rivers have seen only minimal rising Trout with little insect activity.  Some River levels are rather high with all the rain we have seen lately and resident Trout have been well fed with all the natural food available due to the high water levels.  Forecast is calling for some warmer temps after this upcoming holiday weekend, this should get the hatches in full swing soon for the dry fly enthusiast.  Pictured below are the colors of a U.P. Trout season!

Thanks to all Veterans on this Memorial Day!
