This late fall/early winter has offered the best fishing opportunities I can ever remember for the Upper Peninsula. Unseasonably warm weather coupled w a lack of snowfall has created a perfect fishing scenario. Steelhead and Lake Run Brown Trout fishing remains strong as we enter into Mid December, mostly fish that have been in the river for some time but a few new arrivals are present. Some remarkable sized fish the year, the largest average size I can ever recall. Congrats to our guests on some fantastic trophy class fish!
