RIVERS NORTH UPPER PENINSULA FISHING REPORT!

Late Oct U.P. Fishing Report

October 23rd, 2025

Late Fall is settling in here across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, some frosty mornings remind us of what’s to come here soon. Fishing has been good as Salmon season is winding down & Steelhead has become the main focus.

Water levels are quite good currently as some descent rains have bumped water flows up. Hopefully this wet weather trend continues through the next few weeks to bring in new fish.

It has been an all around great fall, all of the different regions of the U.P. we spend time in have fished well for a variety of species. Late season Brook Trout fishing was very good with warmer temps, even some very late dry fly fishing was available. Some great times Muskie fishing as well, those who put in the time were rewarded with some very memorable fish. Thanks to everyone who spent time with us, it has been a fall to remember!
