It’s been some great fishing as of lately here across the Upper Peninsula region. Our first Fall Steelhead of the season are available, always some of our favorite fish to chase. Some remarkable Coho Salmon have been around this Fall, the largest we have ever seen here in the UP! A great sign of healthy Great Lakes with strong baitfish populations. Rivers are very low right now, it’s been super dry since Summer. Some relief is in the forecast as heavy rains are predicted for rest of this week. This should bring in more Steelhead with a bump in water levels.
