Midwinter conditions exist across the UP at this time for open water fishing opportunities.  It has been a fair winter so far & some descent fishing has been available. Steelhead and Lake Run Brown Trout have dominated the catch w the odd Coho thrown in the mix.  Polar vortex headed our way tomorrow, so not much fishing will be happening for a while.
