A transition to fall in the U.P.

September 9th, 2015

The slightest bit of fall is starting here in the Upper Peninsula, in certain regions of the U.P. some trees are beginning to get a bit of color.  This is an absolutely wonderful time of the season to visit, potential for some great fish & a picture perfect backdrop.  A bit of a cool off now after a late summer heat wave, look for cool nights to drop water temps continually from this point forward.  Some Salmon are present in fairly low numbers, recent rains should bring in more. Predators have been very active on some days & our anglers have been quite pleased w the feeding…
